It is with great excitement that I welcome you to Amrita Model United Nations (Amrita MUN), 2024! Get ready for an animated three-day event that brings together sharp minds from across India to engage in diplomacy, tackle global issues, and build connections with fellow young leaders.
At Amrita MUN, you'll dive into stimulating debates in our conventional committees—United Nations Security Council (UNSC), United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) along with our distinctive All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM) and Historic Crisis committees. This is your chance to negotiate, collaborate, and innovate in a vibrant setting designed to foster leadership and teamwork.
But Amrita MUN is more than just an academic exercise. It's a unique opportunity to form lasting friendships with like-minded peers, create a network that spans across India, and lay the groundwork for a new generation of informed and empathetic global citizens. Welcome to the inaugural edition of the Amrita Model United Nations 2024!
It gives me immense pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all the delegates participating in this prestigious event. As the convenor of Amrita MUN 2024, I am honored to be part of this remarkable journey alongside you.
Model United Nations conferences serve as platforms for dialogue, collaboration, and innovative thinking. They allow us to step into the shoes of global leaders, understand complex international issues, and collectively seek solutions for a better world. Through engaging debates, negotiations, and resolutions, we not only enhance our understanding of global affairs but also cultivate critical thinking, diplomacy, and leadership skills.
